Position Overview: Asset Protection Associate – Walmart Canada

As an Asset Protection Associate at Walmart Canada, you will be tasked with creating and maintaining a safe and secure environment for all customers, associates, and visitors. Key Responsibilities

As an Asset Protection Associate at Walmart Canada, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure store security by making daily patrols of the facility, verifying that all doors, showcases, and entrances are secure and functioning properly.
  • Make external arrests when necessary to prevent theft and ensure the safety of customers and associates.
  • Investigate incidents of financial and physical shrink, communicating findings to store leadership or the Market Loss Prevention Manager as needed.
  • Support store evacuation procedures during emergencies, ensuring the safety of all store occupants.
  • Assist in loss prevention investigations related to internal theft, dishonesty, and organized retail crime.
  • Collaborate with the Walmart Canada Global Ethics team to ensure that all investigations are conducted in line with company policies and ethical standards.
  • Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders, clarifying issues and ensuring that all parties understand the outcomes and resolutions of investigations.
  • Additional responsibilities may be added to meet the evolving needs of the company.
