About the Role: Administrative Assistant
As an Administrative Assistant at UPS Mississauga, your primary focus will be supporting the operations team with clerical and administrative functions. This includes entering data into customer files, completing initial reviews of B3 customer files, opening LVS records, and managing document imaging through the scanning station. You’ll also assist with reports, forms, and claims documentation to support the raters on the team.

Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant role at UPS is central to keeping daily operations on track. You’ll be the backbone of the office, handling everything from document management to client communication, all while ensuring accuracy and timeliness in a structured afternoon-shift environment.
- Assist with clerical and administrative tasks including information gathering, photocopying, faxing, and file organization

Requirements / Skills
UPS is looking for a candidate who is organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a structured office setting with minimal supervision. Given the bilingual nature of this role and the technical tools involved, a strong foundation in both communication and computer skills is essential.
- Minimum 6 months of administrative experience — required for this role
- Bilingual in French and English (written and spoken) — required due to regular interactions with Quebec-based clients (approximately 50% of interactions)
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills — Word, Excel, and Outlook are all required
- Typing speed of 40+ words per minute with 90% accuracy
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent — preferred
