Warehouse Associate – UPS – Windsor, Ontario, Canada – $17.30 / hour
UPS is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Windsor, Ontario. In this part-time, permanent role, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, receiving, sorting, and stocking packages in a warehouse environment. You will play a crucial role in organizing packages for delivery by ensuring they are efficiently loaded onto UPS trucks based on postal codes and final destinations.

About the Role
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for loading and unloading packages by hand, scanning them based on postal codes, and organizing packages efficiently onto delivery trucks. You’ll work in varying temperatures within the warehouse, following UPS package handling procedures while maintaining a fast-paced workflow. This role requires the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and work shifts from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Additional tasks include washing UPS trucks and assisting in ensuring all packages are loaded according to the delivery schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages onto or off of UPS delivery vehicles and trucks.
- Organize and stack packages to maximize truck space.
- Scan packages based on postal codes and final destinations.
- Operate within the UPS warehouse in varying temperatures.
- Follow UPS package handling procedures and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Wash UPS trucks inside and out as required.
Basic Qualifications
UPS requires the following qualifications for the Warehouse Associate role:
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32 kg) without assistance.
- Full availability to work Monday to Friday.
- Must be legally able to work 25 hours per week.
- Ability to memorize postal codes and scan packages efficiently.
- Comfortable working inside truck trailers and package delivery vehicles.
