About the Role: Team Leader
As a Team Leader at Dollarama, you’ll take on a supervisory function that keeps the store running smoothly day in and day out. From guiding associates through their shifts to managing cash operations and participating in inventory, your role touches virtually every aspect of the store. You’ll be responsible for upholding Dollarama’s visual merchandising standards, handling daily shipments, and ensuring that the store meets both safety and cleanliness expectations.

Responsibilities
The Team Leader role at Dollarama is a dynamic, multi-faceted position. On any given day, you’ll be directing associates, restocking shelves, handling cash, and making sure customers are well taken care of — all while keeping the store organized and compliant with company standards.
- Lead and supervise store associates, offering day-to-day guidance and support
- Oversee store merchandising, including shelf stocking and handling daily shipments (boxing and unboxing)
- Uphold customer service standards and address complaints or issues in a timely, professional manner
- Perform manager-on-duty tasks such as managing breaks, time-keeping, and attendance tracking
- Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards aligned with Dollarama’s company strategy
- Ensure store safety and cleanliness standards are consistently met
- Carry out cash management duties, including store opening and closing procedures as required
- Participate in inventory processes and support ongoing stock accuracy
- Contribute to employee training and take part in performance evaluations
