About the Role: Team Leader
As a Team Leader at Dollarama, you’ll take on a hands-on supervisory role that blends people management with day-to-day store operations. Responsibilities
The Team Leader role at Dollarama covers a broad range of in-store duties that keep operations running efficiently every shift. From leading your team to managing inventory and maintaining store standards, no two days are identical — and that variety is part of what makes this role engaging.
- Lead and supervise store associates, offering day-to-day guidance, support, and direction
- Oversee merchandising tasks including shelf stocking, boxing and unboxing daily shipments, and maintaining visual standards
- Ensure customer service standards are consistently met throughout the store
- Perform manager-on-duty tasks such as coordinating breaks, monitoring time and attendance, and opening and closing the store
- Resolve customer complaints and address issues in a timely, professional manner
- Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards in line with company expectations
- Handle cash management duties as required
- Participate in inventory processes and stock management
- Support employee training and contribute to performance evaluations
