About the Role: Senior Account Executive, CPG
As a Senior Account Executive on the CPG team, you’ll draw on your digital media background to drive revenue growth across a portfolio of large advertisers and their agencies in Canada. Leveraging Amazon’s first-party insights and advertising tools — spanning Amazon.ca, Prime Video, Twitch, and beyond — you’ll craft customized solutions that connect brands with the right audiences at the right moments, both on and off the Amazon platform.
You’ll operate as an individual contributor backed by dedicated cross-functional support teams, and you’ll work alongside a leadership team with a strong track record of scaling advertising revenue. Benefits and Salary
The base salary range for this position in Toronto is $132,200 to $198,200 CAD annually. As a total compensation employer, Amazon’s package may also include sign-on payments, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and sales incentives depending on the role. Final compensation will reflect experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, and basic life & AD&D), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and additional resources to support health and well-being.

Responsibilities
Day to day, this role centres on building and growing strategic advertising partnerships with major CPG brands and their agencies across Canada. You’ll be expected to move fluidly between client-facing conversations, consultative strategy sessions, and internal collaboration with support teams — all with the goal of driving revenue and delivering results for your clients.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and closing advertising opportunities with large CPG advertisers and their agencies in Canada
- Develop strategic partnerships with client-side marketing teams and agency partners through a consultative, solutions-focused sales approach
- Sell across Amazon’s full advertising suite, including placements on Amazon.ca, Prime Video, Twitch, and third-party publisher networks
- Leverage first-party data and insights to build compelling, customized advertising proposals that align with client business objectives
- Act as a strategic partner to assigned brands, understanding their goals and recommending the right mix of advertising solutions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal support teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and client satisfaction
- Scale domestic revenues by identifying new business opportunities and growing existing accounts within the CPG vertical
Requirements / Skills
This role is built for a seasoned digital advertising sales professional who knows the Canadian media landscape and has a proven record of closing meaningful deals with large brands and agencies. - 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with a demonstrated ability to close deals and generate revenue
- 6+ years of digital media ad sales experience, ideally within a publisher, platform, or media company
- Experience closing sales and contributing to measurable revenue growth
- Experience building new client relationships, particularly with large advertisers and agency partners
- Understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including programmatic, display, video, and data-driven targeting
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to translate client goals into effective advertising strategies
