UPS is looking for energetic and customer-focused individuals to join their team as Seasonal Package Delivery Drivers in Oklahoma City. About the Role
As a Seasonal Package Delivery Driver, you’ll be driving UPS’s iconic brown trucks and delivering packages of all sizes to homes and businesses. Your responsibilities include ensuring that each package arrives on time, in great condition, and with a friendly greeting to every customer. You’ll be expected to handle packages weighing up to 70 lbs, showcasing your physical strength and endurance during busy shifts.
This role doesn’t require a CDL, just a valid driver’s license and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. You’ll follow predetermined routes, comply with traffic laws, and handle all deliveries with care. In addition to driving, you’ll also manage loading and unloading the truck using approved equipment, ensuring an efficient and smooth operation every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a variety of packages to customers in a timely and safe manner.
- Operate UPS vehicles, including day cabs and brown trucks, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring careful handling to prevent damage.
- Interact with customers courteously, providing exceptional service at every delivery.
- Follow delivery schedules and maintain accurate tracking of working hours, breaks, and routes.
Basic Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Possess a valid driver’s license (no CDL required).
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and be physically active during shifts.
- Willing to drive up to 75% of the time.
- Meet UPS’s appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and driving skills.
- Experience with handling deliveries and knowledge of local routes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
