Role of the SDE II
As an SDE II, your main responsibility will be to design, build, and evolve software systems that support Amazon’s growing delivery business. You will focus on creating scalable, reliable, and low-latency solutions that improve the user experience and meet the company’s high standards of excellence.

Compensation & Benefits
The base salary for this position ranges from $129,300 to $223,600 per year, depending on your experience, skills, and location. Amazon offers a comprehensive benefits package, including equity, sign-on payments, and a wide range of benefits that support your career growth and personal well-being.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, scaling) experience of new and existing systems.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, and operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
