About the Role: WHS Specialist

Amazon offers a competitive hourly wage of $29.37 to $40.38 CAD per hour for this position in Nisku, AB. Total compensation may also include sign-on payments and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Responsibilities

Requirements / Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910
  • Minimum 1 year of EHS experience, OR a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant EHS field, OR 6 months in a safety-related role within Amazon
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in matters involving workplace security or personnel issues
  • Preferred: Experience in worker’s compensation case management, emergency response, and/or current First Aid and CPR certifications
  • Preferred: Experience leading teams and conducting job hazard analyses or job safety analyses
