Canada Business Trade Strategy Manager – Amazon – Toronto, ON

Amazon’s Global Trade Services (GTS) team is hiring a Canada Business Trade Strategy Manager based in Toronto, Ontario. This is fundamentally a partner role, not a sales role. You’ll embed yourself alongside Canadian business stakeholders, understand their cross-border trade challenges, and translate data, policy shifts, and operational insights into clear, actionable strategies. From tariff mitigation to supply chain restructuring, you’ll be the trusted voice helping stakeholders make confident decisions under uncertainty.

About the Role: Canada Business Trade Strategy Manager

Day to day, you’ll move fluidly between scanning Canadian trade policy developments, briefing business units on new tariff rulings, pressure-testing recommendations with compliance and logistics colleagues, and leading structured quarterly business reviews. You might start the morning identifying which stakeholders are most exposed to a new CUSMA ruling and end the day driving a working session to optimize import lanes. No two days look the same — and that’s by design.

You’ll work cross-functionally with trade compliance, logistics, finance, and legal teams to ensure your recommendations are grounded in operational reality. You’ll lead strategic initiatives from problem definition all the way through to execution, holding cross-functional teams accountable and making judgment calls when the path forward isn’t obvious. Strong analytical thinking, clear communication, and the ability to earn trust quickly across all levels of the organization are central to succeeding in this role.
