In this mobile, field-based role, you’ll be working directly with Regional Vice Presidents, Dealers, and a team of Retail Execution Managers to champion Canadian Tire’s True North Strategy. Your day-to-day will involve extensive travel across the region, providing hands-on leadership and ensuring consistent brand standards and operational excellence across all Canadian Tire locations in your territory.

About the Role: Retail Execution Manager

As a Retail Execution Manager, you’ll serve as the primary bridge between corporate priorities and store-level execution. You’ll lead a field team, develop strong relationships with Dealers, and ensure that Canadian Tire’s operational programs are understood and implemented effectively across your region. This role demands a high degree of self-direction, resilience, and the ability to create clarity in complex, ambiguous situations.

You’ll be expected to maintain an ethical and collaborative relationship between Dealers and the Corporation, champion customer-centric brand standards, and act as the primary escalation point for your team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, paired with genuine leadership empathy will be essential to your success in this role.

Benefits and Salary

Canadian Tire offers a broadband salary range of $64,000 to $106,000, with a typical hiring range between $64,000 and $85,000 depending on experience, industry benchmarks, and internal equity. Responsibilities

This role spans strategic planning, field leadership, and operational oversight. As a Retail Execution Manager, you’ll be accountable for both the development of your team and the consistent delivery of corporate priorities across Canadian Tire’s Manitoba market. Every week looks different — from coaching field managers to partnering with senior leadership on regional strategy.

• Champion the execution of Canadian Tire’s True North Strategy, keeping customers at the core of all regional initiatives
• Lead and support a team of Retail Execution Managers, driving alignment with strategic goals and operational excellence
• Partner directly with the Regional Vice President to build regional priorities and capacity for corporate objectives
• Drive team engagement and accountability through regular communication, feedback, and performance tracking
• Maintain an ethical and collaborative relationship between Dealers and the Corporation
• Develop and maintain strong operational expertise, ensuring the team is proficient in all operational programs and processes
• Ensure that aligned corporate objectives are clearly communicated through written, verbal, and in-person channels
• Act as the primary escalation point for Retail Execution Managers on operational challenges and concerns

Requirements / Skills

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in retail field operations and knows how to lead high-performing teams across multiple locations. • Minimum 10 years of operational experience in Canadian Tire or equivalent retail environment
• 5 years of people management experience, ideally leading field teams across multiple regions
• Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes without direct authority in a cross-functional environment
• Strong data interpretation skills — ability to gain insights from data and provide actionable recommendations
• Excellent communication skills — strong written, verbal, and in-person presentation abilities
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle — extensive regional travel is required
• Financial acumen — understanding of the financial levers that drive retail store performance
• General understanding of current and emerging technology in a retail context
