Day to day, you’ll be working on the floor alongside the team — loading, unloading, palletizing, and scanning — while also coaching others on best practices. It’s a role that combines physical warehouse work with a leadership dimension, giving you the chance to make a real impact on both safety and efficiency at the facility.

About the Role: Package Handler Trainer PT-1

As a Package Handler Trainer at FedEx’s Delta location, your primary focus is on bringing new and existing Package Handlers up to speed on proper techniques — from unloading and loading to SWAK (Scan Weigh and Key), palletizing, smalls handling, and non-conveyable package procedures. You’ll work directly with management to flag operational issues and help roll out new handling procedures as they come.

Beyond training, you’ll be expected to lead by example on all dock safety standards, demonstrate every process yourself, and keep communication flowing between the floor and management. The environment moves quickly — you’ll be on your feet for approximately 3–5 hours per shift and may work one or more shifts per day, so physical stamina and a team-first mindset are essential.
