About the Role: Package Handler / Non-Driver

Benefits and Salary

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight from delivery vehicles and warehouse conveyors

• Lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs independently and manoeuvre items up to 150 lbs using appropriate equipment
• Complete all required training, including basic onboarding and ongoing recurrent certification programs
• Operate in a PC Windows environment as needed for scanning and data entry tasks
• Comply with safety standards and workplace procedures throughout every shift

Requirements / Skills

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred for this position
• Physical fitness — must be able to lift 70 lbs and manoeuvre packages up to 150 lbs with equipment
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset (preferred, not required)
• Ability to complete mandatory testing and training, including all recurrent programs and certifications
• Comfort working in a PC Windows environment for basic operational tasks
