Responsibilities
Working in a busy freight facility, the Package Handler role involves a range of physical and operational tasks that keep the FedEx supply chain running smoothly. Each task contributes directly to on-time deliveries and accurate shipment tracking across the network.
- Load and unload freight within the facility efficiently and safely
- Scan packages to ensure accurate tracking and documentation
- Sort freight according to destination and routing requirements
- Lift packages up to 70 lbs and manoeuvre shipments up to 150 lbs using appropriate equipment
- Complete training programs including all basic and recurrency courses, and maintain annual accreditations where applicable
- Operate within a PC Windows environment as required
- Work varying shifts based on business needs and operational demand
Requirements / Skills

- High School Diploma or GED preferred

- Ability to successfully complete all mandatory testing and training requirements
- Comfortable working in a PC Windows environment
