About the Role: Package Handler

As a Package Handler at FedEx North Bay, your primary duties revolve around the loading, unloading, scanning, and sorting of freight within the facility. • Load and unload freight within the facility, ensuring packages are handled with care

• Maintain safe handling practices, including lifting up to 70 lbs and manoeuvring packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment

Requirements / Skills

The ideal candidate for this role is physically capable, dependable, and comfortable working in a structured warehouse environment. • Valid Full G driver’s licence with a good driving record (two or fewer violations/accidents in the past 24 months)
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and manoeuvre packages up to 150 lbs using appropriate equipment
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to complete all mandatory testing, training, and annual accreditations
• Comfortable working in a PC/Windows environment
