About the Role: Package Handler
As a Package Handler at FedEx Kelowna, your core responsibility is the safe and efficient movement of packages by hand. You’ll use the “hand-to-surface” method for all package handling, loading and unloading from delivery vehicles, trailers, pallets, and conveyor systems. Shifts typically run 2 to 4 hours, with the possibility of working more than one shift in a day. You’ll be regularly lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling packages weighing between 5 and 50 lbs.

- Train peer Package Handlers (Package Handler Trainer): provide instruction on loading, unloading, palletizing, smalls handling, SWAK, and non-conveyable techniques
- Reinforce dock safety standards and report operational conditions to management
- Assist with implementation of new package handling procedures and techniques as introduced
Requirements / Skills
