What You’ll Do
As a Package Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering packages efficiently and safely to homes and businesses in your community and beyond. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Deliver packages of various sizes to residential and commercial locations.
- Lift and carry packages up to 70 lbs.
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner, complying with UPS safety guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive and professional attitude.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license (no CDL required; license type varies by state).
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Pass the DOT physical.
- Excellent customer service and driving skills.
- Legal right to work in the U.S.
- Comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform.
Working Hours
Full-time UPS employees work eight to ten hours per day. Workdays can vary (Monday – Friday) or (Tuesday – Saturday) depending on business needs.
