About the Role: Overnight Associate

As an Overnight Associate at Walmart Yorkton, your primary focus is on receiving merchandise and moving it efficiently from the dock to the sales floor. Unlike day or evening fulfillment roles, this position places a stronger emphasis on labelling merchandise and placing products in the correct backroom bins to ensure everything is in place before store opening. You’ll be working as part of a team that strategically plans and executes tasks based on nightly workload and operational priorities.

Maintaining a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment is a key part of this role. You’ll follow company policies and procedures, complete safety sweep logs, and ensure displays and fixtures are properly secured throughout your shift. When needed, you’ll also provide customer service on the floor.

Responsibilities

The Overnight Associate at Walmart Yorkton is responsible for preparing the store for the next business day. Working as part of a collaborative team, you’ll handle everything from receiving merchandise off the truck to making sure every product is labelled, binned, and stocked properly before customers arrive in the morning.

• Prepare the sales floor for store opening each morning, ensuring all areas are customer-ready
• Set, merchandise, and sign features and promotional displays throughout the store
• Unload trailers and complete live unloading of various merchandise types
• Pull pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor for overnight processing
• Label merchandise and place products in the correct backroom bins — a key focus of this overnight role
• Stock the sales floor as assigned and provide customer service when required
• Label the sales floor to ensure everything is properly signed before store opening
• Maintain a safe and clean environment by following company policies, completing safety sweep logs, and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure
