Walmart Canada’s Victoria store is looking for an Overnight Associate to join their in-store team. About the Role: Overnight Associate

As an Overnight Associate at Walmart Victoria, your primary focus is on receiving and moving merchandise through to the sales floor. You’ll be pulling pallets, unloading trailers, labelling products, and stocking bins — all as part of a coordinated team effort to get the store ready for opening. The overnight shift has a stronger focus on backroom processing and labelling compared to day or evening roles, making organization and efficiency key to the job.

Beyond the physical tasks, you’ll be expected to uphold safety and cleanliness standards throughout your shift. This includes completing safety sweep logs, ensuring fixtures and displays are secure, and following Walmart’s policies and procedures at all times. You may also assist with customer service as needed, so a friendly, approachable attitude goes a long way.

Benefits and Salary

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $18.00 per hour, with the actual rate determined based on relevant experience. Responsibilities

The day-to-day work of an Overnight Associate revolves around preparing the store for the next business day. From the moment your shift begins, you’re working as part of a team to move merchandise efficiently from receiving through to the sales floor, ensuring everything is in place, labelled, and ready before opening time.

• Prepare the sales floor for store opening each morning
• Set, merchandise, and sign promotional and seasonal features
• Unload trailers and complete live unloading of merchandise
• Pull pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor for overnight processing
• Label merchandise and place products in backroom bins with a strong focus on accuracy
• Stock the sales floor as assigned and provide customer service when required
• Label the sales floor to ensure it’s organized and ready for store opening
• Maintain a safe, clean environment by completing safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure
