Overnight Associate – Walmart – Victoria, BC

Walmart Canada’s Victoria location on Hillside Avenue is looking for an Overnight Associate to join their in-store team. This is a Regular/Permanent position focused on keeping shelves stocked, merchandise flowing, and the sales floor ready for customers each morning. About the Role: Overnight Associate

The Overnight Associate role centres on the receiving and flow of merchandise from the backroom to the sales floor. Your shift begins when most people are asleep — unloading incoming trailers, pulling pallets, labelling products, and stocking shelves so the store is fully merchandised before doors open to customers.

What sets this role apart from day or evening fulfillment is the stronger emphasis on backroom bin organization and merchandise labelling. You’ll also be responsible for setting and signing features, ensuring displays and fixtures are secure, and completing safety sweep logs in line with Walmart’s policies and procedures.

This position starts at a minimum rate of $18.40 per hour. Responsibilities

As an Overnight Associate, your work happens largely behind the scenes — but it’s what makes the entire store run smoothly the next day. From the moment your shift starts, you’ll be moving product, organizing the backroom, and preparing the sales floor so customers have a great experience come opening time.

• Prepare the sales floor for store opening each night shift
• Unload trailers and process incoming merchandise efficiently
• Pull pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor for overnight processing
• Label merchandise and place products in the appropriate backroom bins
• Stock shelves as assigned and assist with customer service if required
• Set, merchandise, and sign features throughout the store
• Label the sales floor in preparation for store opening
• Maintain a safe and clean environment by completing safety sweep logs and securing displays and fixtures in accordance with company policies
