Responsibilities
As an Operations Supervisor, your day-to-day centres on keeping your team productive, safe, and on target. You’ll bridge the gap between frontline package handlers and operational goals, making real-time decisions that directly affect station performance. - Lead and motivate a team of package handlers, fostering a shared vision and a productive work environment
- Coach and mentor team members, serving as a knowledge resource and providing clear instruction on processes and practices
- Monitor operational performance using numerical data and written reports to make sound business decisions
- Build professional rapport with diverse groups and effectively manage interpersonal dynamics on the floor
- Ensure compliance with FedEx safety standards, including proper handling of packages and adherence to workplace protocols
- Utilize software tools including Microsoft Office and web-based applications to manage reporting and communications
- Stay current on relevant technology projects and devices used within the station environment
- Complete all required training, recurrence programs, and annual accreditations as mandated by FedEx
Requirements / Skills

- Analytical ability: Comfortable reading and drawing conclusions from numerical data and written information
- Tech proficiency: Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office and web-based applications
- Physical capability: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperature and noise conditions
- Bilingualism: Required if the incumbent resides in Quebec (French and English)
