Day to day, you’ll be the first and last face members see when they visit the warehouse. From verifying membership cards at the door to checking receipts at the exit, your presence directly shapes the member’s impression of the store. You’ll also take on safety and security responsibilities that go beyond the typical retail floor role.

About the Role: Member Service Assistant

This position blends customer-facing service with active warehouse safety inspections. You’ll conduct hourly safety walks throughout the warehouse and its perimeter, identifying and correcting hazards like spills, trip risks, and blocked exits. You’ll complete inspection forms and report findings to the duty manager, as well as attend regular safety meetings to stay current on protocols.

On the member service side, you’ll greet and assist members with warmth and professionalism — directing them to products and services, offering carts, and helping arrange loading assistance when needed. The role also involves monitoring warehouse access, discretely observing armored vehicle pick-ups, and conducting after-hours perimeter checks using your personal vehicle. A valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are required for this reason.
