Benefits and Salary

The base salary range for this position is $82,000 to $136,900 CAD annually in Ontario. Amazon’s total compensation package may also include sign-on payments and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Responsibilities

This role demands someone comfortable with both high-level strategy and granular analysis. You’ll be shaping how Amazon’s theatrical titles perform across Canada while also ensuring the operational machinery of distribution runs smoothly. Here’s what the work looks like on a regular basis:

  • Build and maintain relationships with territory Sales and Marketing teams, data providers, and exhibition partners (both Major and Independent theatres)
  • Develop predictive models and dashboards to forecast film performance and deliver actionable insights for in-market execution
  • Construct and oversee a dynamic Canadian box office data and analytics system, coordinating with IT developers on implementation
  • Execute ad-hoc analysis covering box office reporting, emerging market performance, and regional moviegoing trends
  • Manage KDM operations and technical delivery standards across exhibition partners
  • Oversee receivables monitoring and booking/gross adjustments in internal systems
  • Support financial operations including tracking invoices, purchase orders, vendor payments, and budgeting
  • Manage planning and delivery of trailers and promotional assets, including classification logistics

Requirements / Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Theatrical Distribution or a comparable role within the media and entertainment industry

  • Strong communication abilities and attention to detail across both internal reporting and external partner management
  • Experience in predictive modelling and analysis (preferred)
  • Demonstrated success building strategic relationships with Canadian theatrical exhibitors (preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
