As a Lead ICB Pricing Manager, you will be responsible for negotiating favorable prices, terms, and conditions for major ICB (Individual Case Basis) customer pricing contracts. This role requires close collaboration with sales teams, product development, finance, and other internal support groups to deliver proposals that secure key contracts. Your expertise will be critical in developing creative pricing models and managing complex cost analyses.
About the Role
In this strategic role, you will take the lead in managing the entire sales process, ensuring that AT&T’s proposals meet both customer expectations and business objectives. You will develop the commercial, technical, and financial framework for contracts, often involving complex risk/reward sharing schemes. Your work will directly impact AT&T’s ability to secure contracts that drive revenue and profitability.
As an expert in the field, you will also provide functional advice and training to less-experienced cost managers, ensuring that the team remains aligned with best practices and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
As a Lead ICB Pricing Manager, your core responsibilities will include:
- Negotiating favorable prices, terms, and conditions for major contracts while ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations.
- Collaborating with the sales team to define service scope, objectives, and key sales messages that maximize financial outcomes.
- Creating value propositions and business cases, including pricing strategies and terms and conditions, to secure client contracts.
- Managing long life cycle deal development by developing commercial, technical, and financial frameworks.
- Resolving complex cost problems through in-depth analysis and creative problem-solving.
- Providing functional advice and training to less-experienced cost managers, ensuring alignment with best practices.
Experience & Education
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in a similar area of responsibility, with a focus on pricing, cost management, or contract negotiation.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a relevant field such as business, finance, or economics.
Compensation & Benefits
AT&T offers a competitive salary range of $130,700 – $196,100 for this position. The starting salary within this range may vary depending on your experience, expertise, and education. In addition to a rewarding salary, AT&T provides a comprehensive benefits package, including:
