This isn’t your average warehouse job. You’ll operate powered material handling equipment (MHE), including order pickers and forklifts, while also supporting inbound and outbound product verification and maintaining accurate inventory records. The shift runs Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM — no evening or weekend work required.
About the Role: Forklift Operator
As a Full-Time Receiving Operator at DHL Supply Chain in Mississauga, your primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently operate powered equipment to move, locate, stack, and count product. You’ll work as part of a dynamic warehouse team, cross-trained in both picking and packing, with a focus on aerospace engine components. Accuracy, attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset are essential in this environment.
Beyond operating equipment, you’ll play an active role in product verification, inventory accuracy, and compliance with all relevant safety standards including OSHA and MSDS requirements. Benefits and Salary
This full-time role pays $23.50 per hour. Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll spend the majority of your shift operating forklifts, clamp trucks, and other powered equipment to keep product moving efficiently through the facility. Your contributions directly support DHL’s commitment to accurate, on-time logistics for a highly specialized aviation parts client.
- Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and other power equipment to load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials for 80% of each shift
- Pick and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of items are correctly loaded
- Verify load accuracy by checking load counts, stability, and any product damage, reporting variances as necessary
- Maintain inventory records by keeping appropriate logs and reports to support inventory accuracy
- Inspect equipment daily and change batteries or LP tanks as needed, monitoring power sources throughout the shift
- Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards to maintain a safe working environment
- Assist with physical inventories and support warehouse operations as directed
- Keep the facility and all equipment neat, clean, and organized at all times
Requirements / Skills

- Forklift operator certificate or willingness to complete a forklift training program within the first 30 days of employment
- Minimum six months of forklift operation experience, ideally in a warehouse setting
- Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) order picker experience — minimum 6 months preferred
- Ability to become MHE certified on an Order Picker (Cherry Picker) within the first 15 days of employment
- Picking and packing experience with strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Good computer skills for recording inventory and related data entry
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
