You’ll be responsible for both inbound and outbound product verification, confirming that items are damage-free, properly coded, and aligned with customer specifications. This dual-function position gives you exposure to multiple areas of warehouse operations.

Benefits and Salary
This position offers a pay rate of $23.50 per hour. Responsibilities
In this forklift operator role, your day-to-day work centres on keeping products moving safely and accurately through the warehouse. From loading and unloading to verifying shipment details, every task you perform contributes to a reliable and efficient supply chain operation.
- Operate powered equipment — including forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers — for moving, stacking, and counting product for at least 80% of each shift
- Pick and prepare product for shipment, verifying that the exact quantities and types of items are loaded correctly
- Verify load accuracy by checking count, stability, and condition of products, and reporting any variances
- Maintain inventory records and reports to support overall inventory accuracy
- Inspect inbound and outbound products for damage, infestation, and proper code dating to ensure compliance with customer requirements
- Perform daily equipment inspections and manage battery or LP tank changes as required
- Assist with physical inventories and keep equipment, materials, and work areas neat and orderly
- Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards to maintain a safe and compliant workplace
Requirements / Skills
The ideal candidate brings solid warehouse experience and hands-on familiarity with MHE equipment, particularly order pickers. DHL values candidates who are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- MHE experience — minimum 6 months operating a Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) order picker required
- Forklift operator certificate or ability to complete a forklift training programme within the first 30 days of employment
- Ability to become MHE certified on an Order Picker (Cherry Picker) within the first 15 days of employment
- Picking and packing experience with strong attention to detail in a fast-paced warehouse setting
- Computer skills sufficient to maintain records and work within warehouse management systems
- Six months of warehouse experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
