As a Flex Driver, you’ll be out on the road ensuring timely package delivery along predetermined routes. About the Role: Flex Driver

In this position, you’ll be responsible for reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading your vehicle, and making sure every package reaches its destination on time. You’ll interact directly with customers and clients throughout your route, making strong communication and time management skills essential to succeeding in this role.

FedEx values a safe and inclusive workplace, and all drivers are expected to complete mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training and any required re-currency training. If you reside in Quebec, you must be bilingual in French and English. A clean driving record — with two or fewer violations or accidents in the past 24 months — is also required.

Responsibilities

As a FedEx Flex Driver, your day revolves around efficient and safe package delivery across assigned routes. Every action you take — from pre-trip vehicle checks to courteous customer interactions — plays a direct role in upholding FedEx’s reputation for reliability.

• Deliver packages to predetermined customers along specific routes in a timely manner
• Review orders prior to departure to ensure accuracy and readiness
• Load and unload your delivery vehicle safely and efficiently
• Provide exceptional customer service to FedEx’s client base throughout your route
• Complete mandatory training, including pre-placement driver assessments and re-currency training
• Maintain compliance with FedEx Canada operational standards and driving regulations
• Adapt to flexible scheduling based on daily and weekly business requirements

Requirements / Skills

FedEx is looking for a candidate who is dependable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused. The ideal Flex Driver brings a positive attitude to every delivery and can handle a fast-paced, physically demanding work environment with confidence.

• Valid full G licence / Class 5 driver’s licence is mandatory
• Clean driving record — two or fewer violations/accidents in the past 24 months
• High school diploma or educational equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs as required during loading and unloading
• Strong customer service skills with at least one year of customer-facing experience preferred
• Good time management and organizational skills to handle multiple deliveries efficiently
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a high-demand environment
• Some knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations is considered an asset
• Bilingual (French/English) required for candidates residing in Quebec
