About the Role: Flex Driver

As a Flex Driver with Federal Express Corporation Canada, your primary responsibility is ensuring that packages reach customers safely and on time. You’ll review your route and orders before departure, manage the loading and unloading of your vehicle, and maintain a professional, courteous demeanour with every customer interaction. This is a part-time casual position, with shift hours and days of work determined based on operational needs, giving you scheduling flexibility while still being part of a high-performing logistics team.

Working at FedEx means operating within a structured, safety-focused environment. You’ll be expected to complete all mandatory driver assessment training, meet ongoing recurrency training requirements, and maintain a clean driving record. The ability to manage time efficiently on a busy route and handle the physical demands of the job — including lifting up to 70 lbs — is essential to succeeding in this position.

Responsibilities

• Deliver packages to predetermined customers on assigned routes in a timely and professional manner
• Review orders prior to departure to ensure accuracy and completeness before heading out
• Load and unload the delivery vehicle safely, handling packages with care and following proper lifting techniques
• Provide exceptional customer service at every stop, representing FedEx Canada with professionalism
• Complete mandatory training including pre-placement driver assessments and all basic and recurrency training requirements
• Operate within PC Windows-based systems as required for route and delivery management
• Adapt to varying shifts based on business needs, maintaining flexibility throughout the scheduling period

Requirements / Skills

FedEx is looking for candidates who are dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. A clean driving record and a commitment to safety are non-negotiables for this role, alongside the interpersonal skills that make every customer interaction a positive one.

• Valid full G licence or Class 5 driver’s licence is required; driving record must show two or fewer violations/accidents in the past 24 months
• High school diploma or educational equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs as part of regular daily duties
• Strong customer service skills; one year of customer-oriented business experience is preferred
• Good time management and organizational skills to manage routes efficiently
• Ability to multitask and handle pressure in a high-volume delivery environment
• Bilingualism (French and English) is required for candidates based in the province of Quebec
