Responsibilities
This role keeps you active and engaged throughout your shift. From the moment you hit the floor, you’re balancing member service, product knowledge, and department upkeep — all of which directly impact the member experience and your department’s performance.
- Assist members on the sales floor in the major appliance, jewellery, and electronics departments
- Demonstrate products and explain features and specifications to help members make informed purchasing decisions
- Help members load large or heavy products onto their carts
- Stay current on technology trends by reading industry magazines, product reviews, and experimenting with merchandise firsthand
- Communicate with the Area Manager about product quantity, pricing, delivery schedules, and promotions
- Stock and maintain product displays — facing, aligning, and replenishing merchandise to keep shelves full and presentable
- Set up and clean department displays and ensure signage is accurate and properly placed
- Approve member returns and verify product condition
- Organize the security lock-up for high-value items and keep the area clear of debris
- Participate in merchandise moves and coordinate with forklift drivers on stocking lists
- Support other warehouse areas as needed
Requirements / Skills
