About the Role: Early Morning Sorter
As an Early Morning Sorter at UPS Kelowna, you’ll be responsible for the loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking of packages. Responsibilities
Day-to-day, this role keeps the UPS supply chain moving efficiently through the Kelowna area. You’ll be responsible for the physical handling of packages throughout the sorting facility, ensuring each item is processed accurately and moved through the system safely and on time.
- Learn and apply UPS package handling methods and best practices
- Load and unload UPS packages into trailers and package cars
- Sort and scan packages according to postal codes and routing information
- Stock and receive incoming shipments within the warehouse
- Operate heavy machinery as required to complete assigned tasks
- Maintain pace in a fast-moving, time-sensitive warehouse environment
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisors during shift
