Benefits and Salary

The base salary range for this role in Toronto is $104,900 to $175,100 CAD annually. Amazon’s total compensation package may also include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs), with final compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and location. Benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life and AD&D), a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and additional resources to support health and well-being. Responsibilities

As a Design Verification Engineer at Annapurna Labs, your day-to-day work centres on ensuring the reliability and correctness of complex SoC designs. You’ll own the verification process end-to-end — from planning through sign-off — collaborating across multiple technical teams to catch issues before they become costly problems.

Requirements / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 4+ years of design verification experience using constrained-random simulation techniques such as UVM
  • Verification experience at multiple levels — from IP blocks and SoCs to full system testing
  • Strong debugging skills with the ability to identify bugs in architecture, algorithms, functionality, and performance
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python or Perl) and industry-standard tools for automation (preferred)
  • Familiarity with AMBA protocols (AHB/APB/AXI) and interconnect protocols such as PCIe and UCIe (preferred)
  • C/C++ and Object-Oriented Programming experience is an asset
