About the Role: Deli Clerk

In this position, you’ll be a key part of the store team, helping customers find what they need and making sure product displays are fully stocked and up to Loblaws’ standards. From accurate product scanning to identifying inventory needs and assisting with ordering, you’ll play a real role in keeping the department running efficiently. You’ll also help set up company-directed promotions and programs as they roll out throughout the store.

This is a unionized position with a starting hourly wage range of $17.60 to $18.45, as set out in the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Responsibilities

Working on the store floor as a Deli Clerk means balancing customer interaction with behind-the-scenes tasks that keep the department stocked, safe, and organized. Every shift contributes directly to the in-store experience that Loblaws customers rely on.

• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to questions and ensuring a positive in-store shopping experience
• Stock and maintain product displays and shelves to meet company presentation standards
• Ensure accurate product scanning at all times to maintain inventory integrity
• Identify inventory needs and assist with the ordering process as required
• Set up company-directed promotions and in-store programs as assigned
• Maintain department cleanliness and uphold all health and safety standards throughout every shift

Requirements / Skills
