Bakery InStore Clerk Part Time Evening – Loblaws – Toronto, ON

Loblaws is looking for a Bakery InStore Clerk to join the team at their Toronto location on Leslie St. This is a part-time evening position suited for someone who enjoys working with people, keeping things running smoothly on the floor, and takes pride in a well-stocked, tidy department.

As a Store Team Member, you’ll play a direct role in the everyday in-store shopping experience — making sure shelves are full, products are easy to find, and customers feel looked after. It’s a hands-on role that combines customer service, product knowledge, and day-to-day department upkeep.

About the Role: Bakery InStore Clerk

Working in the Bakery department, you’ll be responsible for keeping product displays and shelves stocked to company standards, responding to customer questions, and ensuring that inventory needs are identified and addressed. You’ll also support company-directed promotions and programs as they come up throughout the season.

Keeping the department area neat and adhering to health and safety standards is an important part of the job. You’ll work as part of a broader store team, contributing to a positive shopping environment while maintaining accuracy in product scanning and supporting ordering processes when needed.

Responsibilities

In this role, your day-to-day work centres on keeping the Bakery department fully stocked, clean, and customer-ready. Every shift, you’ll be contributing directly to the in-store experience that Loblaws customers count on. Here’s what that looks like in practice:

• Provide great customer service by ensuring shelves are stocked and responding to customer needs in a courteous and resourceful manner
• Maintain and stock product displays and shelves to meet company standards
• Ensure accurate product scanning and identify inventory needs, assisting with ordering as required
• Set up company-directed promotions and programs within the department
• Keep department areas neat and ensure health and safety standards are consistently upheld

Requirements / Skills

Loblaws is looking for someone who is motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate brings a positive attitude and a willingness to learn — previous experience isn’t required, as full training is provided.
