Responsibilities

As a Deli Clerk, your shift will be spent on the floor keeping the department in great shape and helping customers find what they need. From stocking shelves to setting up promotions, every task plays a role in giving shoppers a positive in-store experience.

  • Provide great customer service by engaging with shoppers, answering questions, and being a knowledgeable, courteous presence in the deli department
  • Stock and maintain product displays and shelves to meet company standards and ensure items are always available
  • Ensure accurate product scanning and identify inventory needs, assisting with ordering when required
  • Set up company-directed promotions and programs throughout the department
  • Keep the department neat and uphold all health and safety standards throughout every shift
  • Respond to customer needs resourcefully and courteously, resolving questions and concerns on the spot
