Job Summary & Tips for Applying

AI-generated summary and tips to help you highlight your strengths effectively.

Quick Summary & What to Highlight: This part-time Courier position at Federal Express Corporation Canada in Woodbridge runs Friday to Sunday starting at 8:15 a.m., covering package pick-up and delivery on an assigned route. A candidate should put their valid driver’s licence and clean driving record front and centre, since a record with no more than two violations in the past 24 months is a firm requirement, and their customer service experience directly supports the interaction-heavy nature of the role.

Resume & Application Tips: Mirror the posting’s own language: write “pick-up and delivery” and “customer-oriented” rather than softer alternatives, since those are the terms FedEx uses in its own screening. If you have any experience handling time-sensitive deliveries or managing a route, describe it in concrete terms, for example: “Completed 60+ daily stops on a set route with zero late deliveries over a six-month period.” Note your licence class (Class 5 or G) explicitly on your resume, and list any familiarity with Canadian Customs procedures as an asset.

Interview Preparation: Be ready to describe a situation where you managed multiple deliveries under time pressure, since the posting specifically asks for the ability to multitask and work in a highly pressured environment. Prepare a straight answer on your availability for Friday through Sunday shifts and for holidays. Worth asking at the interview: what the typical number of stops or package volume looks like on a weekend shift, and what the pre-placement driver assessment covers so you can confirm you meet the minimum threshold.
