Consumables Associate – Walmart – Saskatoon, SK
Location: Saskatoon, SK | Company: Walmart
Walmart Canada’s Saskatoon location on Preston Ave N is looking for a Consumables Associate to join their in-store team. This is a hands-on retail role where you’ll be helping customers find what they need while keeping shelves stocked, organized, and ready for the next shopper. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and like staying active throughout your shift, this could be a solid fit.
Day-to-day, you’ll be moving merchandise from the backroom to the salesfloor, setting up product displays, and making sure everything is priced and presented correctly. Beyond stocking duties, you’ll also be a go-to person for customer service — whether that’s helping someone locate an item or resolving a concern on the spot.
About the Role: Consumables Associate
As a Consumables Associate, you’ll be part of a team responsible for the flow of merchandise through a busy retail environment. Your work spans both the salesfloor and the backroom — from receiving and stocking products to maintaining displays and ensuring proper signage and pricing. You’ll also be front and centre when customers need assistance with their shopping decisions.
Walmart places a strong emphasis on safe work practices and maintaining a clean store environment. Associates are expected to follow company policies and procedures around claims, returns, and merchandise security. Working cooperatively with your team and flagging issues to management when needed is a key part of succeeding in this role.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $15.50 per hour. Walmart Canada also offers a range of benefits including a store associate discount, access to the Live Better U education program, EQ Health support, and Deferred Profit Sharing.
