About the Role: Coffee Shop Clerk (Part-Time)

As a Store Colleague at Loblaws, you’ll play a key part in delivering a positive in-store shopping experience. That means ensuring shelves are stocked, products are properly displayed, and that every customer interaction leaves a good impression. You’ll also assist with inventory management, support company-directed promotions, and help keep department areas clean and organized.

Benefits and Salary

This is a unionized position and the pay is governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement. The hiring range is $17.60 – $22.19 per hour. Responsibilities

Day-to-day, this role keeps you busy and engaged across several key areas of the store. From customer-facing interactions to behind-the-scenes stocking and compliance tasks, your contributions directly shape how customers experience the store. Here’s what you can expect to be doing:

• Provide great customer service by ensuring shelves are stocked and responding to customer needs promptly and courteously
• Maintain and stock product displays and shelves in line with company standards
• Ensure accurate product scanning and identify inventory needs, assisting with ordering as required
• Set up company-directed promotions and programs throughout the department
• Keep department areas neat and uphold health and safety standards at all times
• Engage customers through genuine conversation and helpful product knowledge

Requirements / Skills

No prior experience is required — Loblaws provides full training to get you up to speed. What matters most is your attitude and your ability to work well with a team. The ideal candidate brings energy, reliability, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed.

• Team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail in a retail setting
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment without close supervision
• Resourceful and courteous when handling customer questions or concerns
• Motivated to learn new products, processes, and store procedures
• Scheduling flexibility to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, and weekends
• Physical capability to move up to 50 lbs and remain in constant mobility for an entire shift
