About the Role: Part-Time Evening Cashier

As a Cashier at Loblaws Port Credit, your main focus is delivering great customer service while handling transactions accurately and efficiently. You’ll work the register, process cash and credit card payments, and support promotions and programs as directed by the store. This role also involves handling liquor products — stocking shelves and processing sales at the cash register — so candidates must be comfortable with that responsibility.

Benefits and Salary

This is a unionized position, and the pay rate is governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement. The hiring range starts at $17.60 and goes up to $27.44 per hour. Responsibilities

• Provide great customer service through friendly, attentive interactions at the register
• Scan products and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash and credit card payments with care and precision

• Maintain a clean, neat, and well-stocked register area at all times
• Assist customers with general inquiries in a resourceful and courteous manner
