About the Role: Cashier Part Time Day

As a Cashier at Loblaws, your primary focus is delivering efficient and friendly service at the checkout. This is a unionized position with a hiring range of $17.60 – $27.44 per hour, as set out in the applicable collective bargaining agreement. The range stated reflects the starting scale for this role. Responsibilities

Working a part-time day schedule, the Cashier role at Loblaws is centred on delivering a smooth and welcoming checkout experience. Each shift, you’ll interact with dozens of customers and play a direct role in how they feel about their visit to the store.

• Provide great customer service through friendly, attentive interactions at the register
• Scan products and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash and credit card payments in accordance with store procedures
• Support the delivery of company-directed promotions and in-store programs
• Maintain the register area, keeping it neat and stocked with essential supplies
• Assist customers with general inquiries in a courteous and resourceful manner

Requirements / Skills
