About the Role: Bakery InStore Clerk

Working in the bakery department, you’ll be responsible for maintaining product availability, ensuring shelves are stocked and displays meet company standards, and helping customers find what they need. You’ll also support inventory management by identifying replenishment needs and assisting with ordering, as well as setting up company-directed promotions and programs.

Responsibilities

In this role, your day-to-day work centres on keeping the bakery department well-stocked and ready for customers. From managing product displays to supporting health and safety compliance, every task contributes to a smooth and welcoming shopping experience.

• Stock shelves and displays to meet company standards and ensure product availability throughout your shift
• Respond to customer needs with courteous, knowledgeable service that reflects the Loblaws brand
• Ensure accurate product scanning at the point of sale and identify inventory gaps
• Assist with ordering by flagging inventory needs to the appropriate team members
• Set up promotions and programs as directed by the company to support sales and customer engagement
• Maintain department cleanliness and uphold health and safety standards at all times
