About the Role: Bakery InStore Clerk

As a Bakery InStore Clerk, your primary focus will be keeping the bakery department running smoothly during evening hours. That means maintaining well-stocked shelves and product displays, ensuring accurate product scanning, and helping customers find what they need. You’ll also support inventory management and assist with ordering when stock levels need attention.

This is a unionized position, which means your pay rates and conditions are governed by a collective bargaining agreement. You’ll be expected to uphold health and safety standards, contribute to a clean and organized department, and participate in company-directed promotions and programs as they arise.

This position offers a starting hourly wage of $17.60 to $18.45, as set out in the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Responsibilities

Day to day, a Bakery InStore Clerk at Loblaws keeps the department well-organized and customer-ready. These responsibilities are central to ensuring that shoppers have a positive experience and that the bakery section consistently meets company standards.

• Stock and maintain product displays and shelves to meet Loblaws standards at all times
• Provide great customer service by responding to questions with courtesy and product knowledge
• Ensure accurate product scanning at all times to maintain inventory integrity
• Identify inventory needs and assist with ordering to prevent out-of-stock situations
• Set up promotions and company-directed programs as required
• Maintain cleanliness in the department and uphold all health and safety standards

Requirements / Skills
