Responsibilities
Working as an Asset Protection Representative means you’re on the front lines of retail security. From deterring theft to conducting detailed investigations, your day-to-day work directly supports the safety of colleagues and customers while protecting Loblaws’ business interests.
- Protect and deter theft, fraud, and policy violations by maintaining a visible, professional in-store presence
- Apprehend offenders safely and lawfully, following all company procedures and applicable legislation

- Collaborate with law enforcement when required to support investigations and legal proceedings
- Reduce shrink by partnering with store leadership to identify loss trends and implement prevention strategies

Requirements / Skills

- Valid Provincial Security Guard Licence — required for the role
- Knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act, and related provincial legislation
- Experience with CCTV and surveillance tools, as well as Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Exceptional communication skills — approachable, confident, and professional in all interactions
