Responsibilities
The Warehouse Associate II role at UPS covers a comprehensive range of warehouse operations that keep the supply chain running smoothly. From the moment products arrive to the moment shipments leave the dock, you’ll play a key part in maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and compliance every step of the way.
- Receive and inspect inbound product according to established SOPs
- Put away product in correct locations and manage returns, including counting quantities and determining condition
- Pick and verify orders, confirming product name, size, product code, lot number, expiration date, and quantity — escalating concerns when needed
- Pack and stage outbound shipments securely, applying proper documentation and labelling to all cases
- Create shipping labels and paperwork for parcels and LTL skid shipments, including waybills and shipping manifests
- Operate power equipment safely, including pallet movers, forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers
- Use RF Scanners to electronically scan barcodes and update the warehouse management system
- Conduct cycle counts daily, weekly, and/or monthly; identify OS&D discrepancies and report or correct errors
- Respond to customer and client inquiries via email or phone, resolving issues and escalating service concerns to the Supervisor
- Compile daily and monthly reports per SOP, including customer KPI reports
- Promote workplace safety and actively participate in the Comprehensive Health & Safety Program (CHSP)
