As a Vendor Manager, you will work directly with vendors to enhance value, selection, and convenience across their businesses. You will play a critical role in managing strategic and established brands to drive profitability and top-line performance for their category.

Role of the Vendor Manager

As a Vendor Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, forecast generation, product launches, and pricing to drive growth for the vendor and Amazon.ca.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Conceive, create, and analyze marketing campaigns to drive vendor growth, brand awareness, customer conversion, and top-line revenue.
  • Analysis & Strategy: Conduct detailed analysis to identify opportunities for growth, and create comprehensive marketing proposals, SEO strategies, social media campaigns, email campaigns, and promotional strategies.
  • Vendor Relationships: Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms and ensure the best deals for Amazon customers.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results.
  • Knowledge of Excel and experience in extracting data through various reporting tools to influence business decisions.
  • Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with pricing and selection strategy.
  • Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development.
