About the Role: Stockperson/Cartpusher

As a Stockperson/Cartpusher at Walmart Canada in Tsawwassen, BC, your primary responsibility is collecting shopping carts from cart corrals, the parking lot, and the store perimeter, then returning them to their designated storage areas following Walmart-approved procedures. You’ll also assist customers with carry-outs and carry-ins at the registers, making sure each person’s visit ends on a positive note.

Beyond cart retrieval, this role involves maintaining safety standards, completing required logs, conducting regular safety sweeps, and contributing to a clean, hazard-free work environment. Benefits and Salary

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $18.00 per hour. Responsibilities

The day-to-day work of a Stockperson/Cartpusher keeps the store running smoothly for both customers and fellow associates. From the parking lot to the register area, you’ll be a key part of maintaining an organized, safe, and customer-friendly environment at Walmart Tsawwassen.

• Collect shopping carts from cart corrals, the parking lot, and store perimeter, returning them to safe storage using Walmart-approved procedures and completing necessary logs
• Assist customers promptly at all registers with carry-outs and carry-ins, verifying receipts for proof of purchase
• Perform cleaning and maintenance of restrooms on an occasional basis, following established guidelines for handling chemicals, proper disposal procedures, and safe use of power equipment
• Adhere to safety and emergency procedures including hazardous communications, lockout/tagout protocols, and blood borne pathogen guidelines
• Maintain the Cart Retrieval Log at the Customer Service Desk accurately and consistently
• Contribute to a safe, clean, hazard-free environment by following company policies and procedures at all times
• Wear personal protective equipment including steel toe footwear and a reflective vest during outdoor cart collection
• Complete safety sweeps as required throughout the shift
