The typical hiring range is $64,000 to $106,000 CAD annually, with a target salary range of $85,000 to $95,000 CAD annually, depending on experience, skills, and other factors. Responsibilities

Day-to-day, this role blends technical accounting work with strategic analysis and cross-functional collaboration. From updating financial models and managing monthly deliverables to leading discussions on evolving business initiatives, the Senior Financial Analyst plays a hands-on role in keeping supply chain accounting accurate, compliant, and efficient.

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for new supply chain business initiatives
  • Ensure appropriate accounting policy decisions are made and enforced
  • Monitor and update key financial models across all entities, working alongside other accounting groups
  • Develop expertise in the Dealer contract and provide guidance to other accounting teams as needed
  • Make capital vs. OPEX decisions and ensure timely, accurate monthly and quarterly deliverables
  • Report functional results, including analysis of significant variances year-over-year and against budget/forecast
  • Research and lead discussions on key business and accounting issues as initiatives evolve
  • Identify and execute improvements and efficiencies to complex models and processes, maintaining appropriate documentation
  • Monitor key controls and manage communications with business partners, FP&A, tax, and internal/external auditors
  • Participate in or lead ad hoc projects as assigned by the Manager

Requirements / Skills

  • CPA designation or equivalent — a core requirement for this role
  • University degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a medium or large company accounting department or accounting firm
  • IFRS expertise, including experience researching and developing accounting position documents and providing guidance on capitalization of assets
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to see the big picture in a complex environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of building and maintaining relationships across functions
  • Familiarity with internal and external audit processes
  • Working knowledge of PeopleSoft and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is an asset
