Role of the Senior Applied Scientist
As a Senior Applied Scientist, your key responsibilities will include developing scalable methodologies for evaluating LLM outputs, designing semantic retrieval systems, and optimizing models for customer experiences.
You will also be involved in tuning, training, and optimizing LLMs to balance compelling customer experiences with operational scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate product and customer experience requirements into science metrics.
- Develop methodologies to evaluate and optimize LLM outputs.
- Design and implement high-quality knowledge bases and semantic retrieval systems.
- Mentor junior scientists and influence scientific best practices within the organization.
Compensation & Benefits

Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience building machine learning models for business applications.
- PhD or Master’s degree in a related field with significant experience in machine learning models.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, Java, or Perl.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in building machine learning models for business applications.
- Experience in scaling and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
