Role of the Quality Assurance Engineer II
As a Quality Assurance Engineer II, you will be responsible for developing test frameworks, defining and implementing functional tests, and performing failure testing with fault injection.
You’ll work closely with program management, development teams, and product managers to scope out features and understand customer requirements. Your role will involve driving the quality of our system and ensuring that new features are brought to market efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver scalable automation for testing.
- Work with SDEs to identify the tools and frameworks needed for effective testing.
- Scope and analyze testing gaps in the Amazon Ads ecosystem.
- Develop test plans, design performance and scale test suites.
- Present technical material to internal and external audiences.
Compensation & Benefits

Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in manual and automation testing.
- Experience as a QA lead on medium to large-sized projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with automated test frameworks like Selenium or Appium.
- Experience in gathering test requirements and defining quality metrics.
