About the Role: Package Handler

As a Package Handler at UPS Caledon, your core duties revolve around the safe and efficient movement of packages through the facility. You’ll be loading and unloading package delivery vehicles and trailers, sorting packages according to postal codes, and following UPS’s established package handling methods to ensure accuracy and safety throughout every shift.

This role takes place inside a warehouse environment where temperatures can vary, and you’ll regularly work inside truck trailers and delivery vehicles. Physical fitness and stamina are essential, as you’ll be lifting packages up to 70 lbs. throughout your shift. Flexibility with start and end times is required based on operational needs.

Benefits and Salary

This position pays $18.15 per hour to start, with automatic pay rate progression under the Union Collective Agreement — reaching a top rate of $30.11/hr. after 48 months. Responsibilities

Working as a Package Handler at UPS, your shift will centre on the physical movement and organization of packages across the facility. • Load and unload packages into and out of UPS package delivery vehicles and trailers
• Sort and stock packages accurately based on postal codes to ensure correct routing
• Learn and apply company-established package handling methods for safe and efficient operations
• Work consistently across all five assigned days (Sunday to Thursday) with flexibility on shift times
• Lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs. (32 kg) without assistance as part of the regular workload
• Operate within truck trailers and delivery vehicles throughout the shift as required
