This is a part-time, permanent, unionized position that offers a clear progression path, solid pay, and real opportunity to grow within a Fortune Global 500 company.

About the Role: Package Handler (Early Morning Shift)
Working out of UPS’s 12424 Dixie Road facility in Caledon, the Package Handler plays a central role in keeping packages moving efficiently through the supply chain. You’ll be physically sorting and stocking packages by postal code, loading and unloading them from delivery vehicles and trailers, and following UPS’s established package handling methods.
This role takes place in a warehouse environment where temperatures can vary and volume can fluctuate. Flexibility with start and finish times is required depending on operational needs. You may occasionally be asked to stay beyond the standard shift when shipment volume demands it — so reliability and adaptability are key traits in this position.

This position starts at $18.50 per hour with automatic wage progression under the Union Collective Agreement — reaching a top rate of $36.53/hr after 48 months of service. Benefits include extended health care (vision, health, life insurance, and dental) after one year of service, tuition reimbursement up to $2,000 per semester (subject to eligibility), paid training, weekly pay via direct deposit every Friday, personal paid days off, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), an Employee Referral Bonus Program, and free onsite parking. Note that monthly union dues of approximately $43/month apply, along with a one-time $50 union initiation fee (deducted after 90 working days) and a $20.50 background check fee (reimbursed after 90 working days).
